About Us

Maya Brown, Esq. is a partner at Saner & Brown PLLC. Her practice includes child protective cases and family matters, as well as other forms of civil litigation and trial practice. She is also a rostered Guardian ad Litem. Maya previously worked at Kilgore Law in Turner, Maine, where she similarly specialized in protective custody cases and family matters. Prior to law school, Maya worked at Children's Rights in New York City as a paralegal, advocating for systemic change for children in foster care. Maya earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from Smith College. 

Katelyn Saner, Esq. is a partner at Saner & Brown PLLC. Her practice focuses on appeals, including child protective appeals, criminal appeals, and other civil appeals. Katelyn previously worked as a law clerk to a federal judge, as a litigation associate at a large firm in Boston, and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Maine. Katelyn earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
